Passive Transformer-Isolated. The DIB-443 is the passive model in the Hosa Pro-Conex Sidekick direct box series. Designed to simplify the connection of high-impedance instruments to a mixing console or DAW, the DIB-443 utilizes an isolation transformer to transform an instrument-level signal to a balanced, line-level signal.

Optimized for Instruments. This single-channel unit is an ideal solution for electric guitars, basses, and keyboards, as well as pedal effects or any electronic musical instrument with a mono 1/4” output. The passive design ensures reliable performance without the need for batteries or phantom power, making it a dependable staple for any stage or studio setup.

Essential Signal Management. Part of the rugged Pro-Conex assortment, the Sidekick DIB-443 is built for the stage and equipped with a dedicated toolkit for signal correction. A selectable INST/LINE switch allows you to choose between a pure, noise-free tone for Digital Signal Processing (DSP) or allowing an amplifier to drive the line for a natural, overdriven tone.
