Drum phenom Gergo Borlai collaborated with Gretsch to create a unique addition to the USA metal snare collection. Together, they designed a snare drum that Gergo describes as “sensitive, multifunctional, loud, and limitless.”

Key features of this snare include a 4.25×14″ brass shell with a thickness of 1.2mm, 45-degree bearing edges, 42-strand snare wires, and 4mm die-cast hoops. These elements make this instrument stand out in the Gretsch snare drum lineup. The shell’s surface is finished with a sandblasted texture, giving it a distinctive look and enhancing its overall sound quality.

Additional features include a Lightning throw-off™, a Gretsch Permatone® Control Sound head by Remo USA®, and an inside identification label that specifies the year of production and is signed by Gergo Borlai, making this snare drum truly one-of-a-kind.
