Returns & Refunds

At GN Music at Large, we aim to provide a seamless shopping experience, and our returns and refunds policy reflects that commitment. If you’re not completely satisfied with your new item (aside from those specified below), you have the luxury of returning it within 14 days from your invoice date. Choose from a full refund, an exchange, or store credit—whatever best fits your needs.

For our cherished Pre-Owned treasures, we offer a grace period of 48 hours for returns. When it comes to Clearance items— those spectacularly marked-down gems, “door busters,” or anything else labeled as a sale—you may return them within 7 days unless stated otherwise.

For online shoppers, your return clock starts ticking the moment your package lands on your doorstep. To initiate a return, please

provide us with a tracking number within the designated timeframe.

We ask that you reach out to GN Music within 24 hours of delivery if you encounter any issues related to damages during shipping, missing items, or any discrepancies with your order.

Please note that the original freight, packing materials, and handling fees are non-refundable.

**Items Exempt from Returns**

Regrettably, some items cannot be returned. These include consumables like strings, picks, and drumsticks; any wearable items or instruments you blow into, such as earplugs, in-ear headphones, and harmonicas; and all forms of computer software or copyrighted materials, which include but are not limited to books, videos, and CDs.

Additionally, installed items—think guitar pickups, drum heads, or other integral components—are also non-returnable. If you opted for a backorder or special order item, please remember that such arrangements cannot be canceled unless expressly approved by GN Music. However, if a special order item arrives defective, we will gladly facilitate an exchange, and you’ll be informed of what qualifies as such.

Keep in mind that certain items are sold “as is” and are considered final sales. Be sure to check the product description for further details.

**Important Considerations for Returns**

While we’re here to assist you, please be aware that shipping and handling fees cannot be refunded. Return shipping costs are your responsibility, and we strongly advise you fully insure the items you’re sending back. If you enjoyed free shipping on your original order and decide to return an item, you will be accountable for the actual shipping costs incurred.

When returning items, ensure they’re in their original packaging, complete with any accessories and documentation—like the owner’s manual and warranty card—that were included in your shipment. Returned items must show no signs of use or wear; both the warranty card and manual must remain pristine, free from any markings. If your order was shipped to you in protective outer packaging, please return it in that same packaging along with the inner boxes. Any returned items that don’t abide by these conditions may incur repackaging charges or face denial of return entirely. Noticeable signs of use that diminish the item’s value may result in additional fees based on the necessary markdown to resell.

**Refund Processing Procedures**

We want to ensure transparency regarding your refunds. Please be informed that cash refunds exceeding $30 will be issued via company check, sent through the mail within 3-5 days upon approved return. For credit card transactions, refunds will be processed back to the same card, excluding freight, handling, and any reconditioning charges. If you paid by check, your

refund will be similarly issued once sufficient time has passed for your original check to clear.

Remember, all returns and refunds are at the discretion of GN Music at Large management. Items that are damaged, evidently used, or abuses of our return policy may lead to refusal of refunds or returns. We do not accommodate free rentals under our return policy.

**Pricing and Specifications Updates**

In our unwavering effort to remain accurate, please note that pricing and specifications are subject to change. GN Music at Large endeavors to present only the most reliable information, but we cannot be held responsible for typographical errors, incorrect specifications from manufacturers, or abrupt price changes.

**Returns/Refunds During the Pandemic**

During these unprecedented times, our standard return policy still reflects our values:

We are unable to accept returns under the guise of “free rentals.” While we appreciate the importance of playing during visits or quarantines, our return policy is not intended as a loophole for borrowing. Support your local business instead—we’re often able to provide loaners to see you through and ensure you still enjoy your passion for music!

If we suspect misuse of our return policy, rest assured we may impose a restocking charge or deny your refund entirely. We understand that environments and needs have shifted, so while microphones can be returned for store credit, please note a sanitization fee of $25 will apply. Guitars and other stringed instruments will incur a $35 fee for restringing and cleaning.
