The remarkable 16-ply Gretsch Mahogany/Maple Snare Drum collection truly embodies the best of both worlds. It beautifully merges the rich, resonant tones of Mahogany with the vibrant brightness of Maple, catering to a diverse array of musical styles and preferences.

The 6×13” and 5×14” models are crafted with a sharp 30-degree bearing edge, delivering a crisp attack and an impactful backbeat, enhanced by a subtle, dark undertone. Conversely, the 6.5” and 8×14” models feature a softer 30-degree bearing edge, resulting in a warmer, fuller sound with a deeper low-end, creating a more robust backbeat.

Each drum showcases an exquisite glossy lacquer finish and is thoughtfully equipped with Tilco Snare Wires, 2.5mm Triple Flange Hoops, as well as our newly designed Full Range Throw-off and Butt Plate, ensuring both performance and aesthetic appeal.
