Description
Aguilar’s Fat P Bass Tone
Introducing a beautifully crafted pickup inspired by the legendary Pre-CBS era Precision bass, designed to evoke the rich tone and feel of the 1960s. Employing historically accurate heavy Formvar wire and Alnico V magnets, these pickups are meticulously wound to provide the warm resonance and pronounced midrange “nose” that epitomizes an exceptional 60s P-bass pickup.
This pickup is perfect for the discerning P-bass player seeking to capture the iconic vibe and tone of the renowned 60s Precision bass, while enjoying the benefits of modern reliability, construction, and consistency. The 4P-60 offers a warm, clear tone with just the right touch of midrange, ensuring an unparalleled musical experience. Our thorough prototyping process included sampling a ’63 and ’64 Precision bass, allowing us to recreate the magic behind the legendary Pre-CBS Precision bass pickup with contemporary enhancements. Embrace the timeless sound and craftsmanship that will elevate your performance!
